UFL Adds Oklahoma City Team for 2028

The to-be-named Oklahoma City team will play in a downtown 10,000-seat stadium currently under construction. This announcement comes as spring football continues to face challenges in gaining significant market share, despite having existed in various forms for the past eight years.

The UFL, formed by merging the USFL and XFL, has adjusted its approach by moving most teams to smaller stadiums to avoid the appearance of empty venues that plagued earlier iterations in larger stadiums like Ford Field.
