The South Bay Lakers, boasting a 26-10 record and the Western Conference top seed, edged the San Diego Clippers 122-119 in a tight first‑round game. Chris Mañon finished with five points in the final minute, including a steal with 10.4 seconds left that sealed the win. Malik Williams and Drew Timme each scored 21 points, while Kobe Bufkin added 20 points and Nick Smith Jr. contributed 18 points off the bench.

South Bay will host the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Friday at 7:00 p.m. on Prime Video, continuing their quest for the G League title.
