Rennes forward Esteban Lepaul has set his sights on the Ligue 1 top scorer trophy, currently third with 14 goals, and says finishing top scorer would be magnificent.

Lepaul, 25, has 14 Ligue 1 goals, placing him third behind Mason Greenwood (15) and Joaquín Panichelli (16). With seven matches remaining, he is chasing the Top Scoreur trophy.

He said finishing top scorer would be magnificent and that scoring in Ligue 1 is hard. Lepaul is not focused on a France call‑up, but on meeting his season objectives. Rennes sit seventh and are in the mix for European qualification.
