After a Tuesday loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, where Vanderbilt was limited to five minutes and then left the arena, Redick appeared on camera to downplay the disagreement, stating it was not significant. Former Sixth Man of the Year Eddie Johnson echoed this view, arguing that coach‑player clashes are routine and should not be seen as a crisis.
