Prestianni says Benfica suspended him without evidence over Vinicius slur claim

During the Champions League playoff between Benfica and Real Madrid, Vinicius Jr. alleged that Benfica youngster Gianluca Prestianni had called him a ‘monkey’. The claim was backed by Kylian Mbappé but no evidence was presented.

Prestianni denied the accusation, was suspended for the second leg, and says he was punished without evidence. He says the incident hurt his family and he is trying to move on.
