The Philadelphia 76ers will be without star center Joel Embiid for Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards due to illness.

Embiid was officially ruled out of the matchup after being sick following Philadelphia's loss to the Miami Heat.

He expressed frustration about his physical condition postgame, stating he was not in it and needed to rest.
