Italy Miss World Cup Again After Bosnia Beat on Penalties

Italy has missed out on the 2026 World Cup for the third consecutive time after a dramatic penalty shootout loss to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Despite falling behind to a Moise Kean goal, Bosnia dominated the match and played the Italians off the park. The hosts kept their heads and converted all four penalties to secure their place in the summer tournament in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
