Haiti and the Democratic Republic of the Congo have secured spots in the 2026 World Cup, marking their first appearances in 52 years. Iraq also qualifies, ending a 40‑year drought.

Haiti and DR Congo qualified for the 2026 World Cup, breaking a 52‑year absence from the tournament. Haiti earned its berth outright in CONCACAF, while DR Congo defeated Jamaica in the play‑in. Iraq also joins the expanded 48‑team field, returning after a 40‑year gap since 1986.
