Elisabeth Terland Withdraws from Norway Qualifiers

Norwegian international Elisabeth Terland has withdrawn from the World Cup qualifying matches against Slovenia because of injury, the Norwegian Football Federation announced.

Elisabeth Terland will miss the upcoming qualifiers against Slovenia, as the Norwegian Football Association confirmed her withdrawal due to injury. The 27‑year‑old has been sidelined after missing Manchester United’s recent fixtures, and United manager Marc Skinner had voiced doubts she would be fit for the national team before their Champions League clash with Bayern Munich. Norway will play Slovenia twice, with the home leg scheduled for Tuesday at Åråsen.
