Coen Wants Walker So Disruptive He'd Need Removal

Jacksonville Jaguars' head coach Liam Coen wants defensive end Travon Walker to become so disruptive that he needs to be removed from practice sessions.

Coen, who worked with Aaron Donald during his time with the Rams, wants Walker to bring a similar level of dominance to the Jaguars' defense. "If you want to get where you want to go and where we want you to go and where you can go, I need to be taking you out of practice so that we can operate on offense," Coen said.

Walker has already shown promise with 10+ sacks in both 2023 and 2024 seasons. With his new four-year, $110 million contract secured, Walker is now focused on perfecting the small details to elevate his game to the "next level" as Coen envisions.
