Manchester City demolished Liverpool 4-0 in the FA Cup with Erling Haaland's hat-trick, booking their place in the competition's semi-finals for the eighth consecutive season.

Haaland's clinical performance proved decisive as City dominated the contest from start to finish. The Norwegian striker opened the scoring with a penalty before adding a header just before halftime, then completed his tre midway through the second half.

Liverpool, despite having opportunities through Mohamed Salah and Hugo Ekitike, were wasteful in key moments. Salah's penalty was saved by James Trafford, while other chances went begging. City's victory keeps their domestic cup double hopes alive as they secured their eighth straight FA Cup semi-final appearance.
