Canada Wins Third Straight at Curling Worlds

Canada's Matt Dunstone won his third straight game at the world men's curling championship with an 8-4 victory over China on Tuesday.

Canada's Winnipeg-based rink broke open a close game with four points in the ninth end before the teams shook hands. The win improved Canada's record to 5-2, tying them with Scotland for third place in the standings. Scotland's Ross Whyte also won, defeating South Korea 7-2.

Sweden's Niklas Edin led the standings at 7-0, while Switzerland was second at 6-1. Sweden and Canada were scheduled to meet in the day's final draw. This marks Dunstone's first time skipping Canada at the world championship after winning this year's Montana's Brier.
