Bernal aims for Champions League return

Barcelona medical tests yesterday at Ciutat Esportiva confirmed that Marc Bernal will miss the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, while the central defender is available for the upcoming Atlético match.

Hansi Flick lost Ronald Araujo and Marc Bernal during a recent match, but tests revealed the central defender is fit to play.

Bernal, however, faces a longer recovery and will be sidelined for the European tie.
