Adell's 3 HR Robberies Secure Angels 1-0 Win

Jo Adell robbed three home runs to keep the Angels ahead in a 1-0 win over the Seattle Mariners.

In a sold‑out Angel Stadium crowd, Jo Adell turned his defensive career around by robbing three home runs in a 1‑0 victory over the Seattle Mariners. The first came in the first inning when Cal Raleigh’s drive bounced off the video board; the second was a Josh Naylor shot in the eighth; the third was a J.P. Crawford line drive in the ninth that Adell leapt over the wall to secure the ball.

Nine‑time Gold Glove winner Torii Hunter called it “the greatest defensive game I’ve ever seen.” Adell said the key was getting to the right spot and that his positioning had improved since the missed fly ball the night before.
