3-Star CB Johnson decommits from Alabama

Atlanta McEachern three-star cornerback Nash Johnson has decommitted from Alabama, according to Rivals' Chad Simmons.

Johnson, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound corner, originally committed to the Crimson Tide in November over offers from Georgia and Georgia Tech. Since then, several schools including Tennessee, Auburn, Miami and Ole Miss have increased their recruitment efforts.

The 2027 prospect has official visits scheduled with those programs in May and June. Johnson recently visited Miami and came away impressed with the facilities and campus vibe. He also visited Auburn, where he noted the development and his strong relationships with coaches as factors making it difficult to remain committed to Alabama.
